Nirnborn Creed

  • Nirnborn Creed
    The gods are dead
    Their words are lies
That live in myth and starry eyes
The breath of truth will be the last
Of a world cast in ivory ash
    Slavers hunt their mortal prey
With tales of bones and Ehlnofey
Knee bones crack under the weight
Of misplaced hope and racial hate
    We are the end
    And the beginning
    Bone and marrow
Only through us does the world stand

I'm just being a tease. I've started back in Signal Fire now that I have the time, and no chapter is really complete without some obscure poem.

    Oh the words of truth
    Often unsaid
    Except in quiet whispers.

Ok I admit it. Some of it I don't get but then I'm not heavy in lore like some of you.

When the world is weary, full of pain
From wounds sustained in an endless game
When the wheel turns just like before
Always the same story is at its core.

What is the truth to those in pain?
    More important than stayin...  more
