The Alfiq Dragonborn

  • *This is Nebula’s, not mine; I’m reposting it with his permission.*

    "You should have acted! They're already here."

    "The Elder Scrolls told of their return."

    *panting*

    "Their defeat, was merely a delay."

    "Until the time after Oblivion opened."

    *more panting*

    "When the sons of Skyrim, would spill their own blood."

    *Stamina 6/100*

    "But no one wanted to believe..."

    "Believe they even existed..."

    "And when the truth, finally dawned..."

    "IT DAWNED IN FIRE!"

    The dragon landed in front of me, and the snow covered my fur due to the sheer impact this beast had created. It attempted to bite me; fortunately my trusty iron helmet kept him from doing any actual damage. However, I'm afraid my iron helmet could not shield me from a large blast of fire breath. I was pawsitive that he was going to fry me. Good thing I ate approximately 200 apples, or else that surely would have been the end of me.

    "But! There is one they fear..."

    "In their tongue, he is Dovahkiin.

    "DRAGONBORN!"

    An instinct had come over me, something I had never felt before. For years, I had been restricted from speaking; all I could ever do was hope that my fellow comrades could ever understand me! I always felt like I had nothing to live fur. Yet, it all of a sudden like I could do something incredible; something no Khajiit had ever done before!

    "WULD, NAH KEST!"

    I quickly got the hell out of there.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    "VEN, GAAR NOS!"
    "YOL, TOOR SHUL!"
    "FO, KRAH DIIN!"
    The Mane seemed to enjoy me demonstrating my abilities. To be fair, it's not like I could do much else. Thank Akatosh that I purrrchased a few Amulets of Talos before I arrived. He was so proud, that one of his people; an Alfiq even! Was chosen to be the almighty Dragonborn. I suppose it was only a matter of time before he requested to see me...
    The Mane's pawdyguards didn't let my companion come close; she explained that she was sworn to carry my burdens but I don't think the guards believed her. However they didn't seem to have a problem with my summoned Nord warrior, which was quite strange.
    I had used every shout that I could; except for one...I picked up the words for it on my travels but hadn't ever tested them. All of the other shouts put on a good show, no harm in trying this out!
    "FAAS, RU MAAR!"
    I was swiftly tossed out of the window.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    My entire life has been leading up to this moment...

    It was my destiny to defeat Alduin, but this threat made him merely a distant memory.

    It was time to face my greatest challenge...

    The first Dragonborn...

    Miraak.

    Now I see why the Greybeards were so worried! The Blades tried to pull me away from them; literally, I lost a claw while hanging on to the stone wall. How foolish they were...Now it is up to me to put an end to this madness!

    I had stepped foot into Apocrypha for the first time, and was immediately stuck with a lightning bolt. I quickly realised it was Miraak who had done this.

    "Aaah, you are Dragonborn...I can feel it."

    "I expected something...different, but oh well."

    After an incredibly long and drawn out speech about how I was the biggest mistake in the history of Nirn. He shouted, and the most beautiful armor I had ever seen appeared on his robes. Not sure why he did that, considering he flew away on his dragon afterwards.

    I could then only watch in horror as these two terrifying creatures approached me, and then proceeded to flex in front of my face for seemingly no reason.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    It felt so great going to Apocrypha for the last time, knowing that I was about to face my greatest enemy yet. Unbeknownst to him, I picked up a few new tricks along the way. I was getting closer and closer, these Seekers were no match for my new fire-enchanted claws. However, I began to think...
    "Will I come out of this alive? I suppose only time will tail..."
    I was scared; I would be lion if I said otherwise. But, I had a sip of some mead and was feline good. I moved on, and finally found him...staring at me.
    "You have come this far, yet, you have failed anyway."
    "By the time you die, every Dunmer and Nord on this island will be under my control once again."
    He was taunting me, reminding me of the former cat-tastrophe he had caused, but I refused to let it get to me! Even he realised that talking was pointless, and we ended up both shouting.
    "MUL, QAH DIIV!"
    This shocked Miraak; he did not expect me to learn this shout. The glorious armor shined over my fur, I even heard one of the dragons gasp! I stood tall; temporarily. We both circled each other for a short while, and then, finally, we both charged...We were about to clash, but Miraak pawsed. He simply stood still and looked down on me...I was utterly confused! He chuckled for a moment, and then shouted...
    "RAAN, MIR TAH!"
    Crap...
    The End
    I don't see why not. Neither myself nor Nebula own it.
    It looks sad because it got an arrow to the knee.
    It would add a projectile attack to the shout's effects.
    Yeah, it's a nice picture. Not sure why the cat looks so sad though.
    Wonder how fur balls would effect his shouting?
    The dragonborn in my narrative knew an alfiq. Loving the picture, it reminds me of a cat I once had.
