    If I get into the beta I'll have to remind them not to take combat mechanics from Assassin's Creed

    It might have been just me but this part of the trailer really pissed me off. With slashing attacks, he goes straight through both plate and mail, both DESIGNED to stop slashing attacks from swords, and still kills them in a single strike. Not to mention this frame - even if the knife COULD penetrate the mail and plate, it isn't even long enough to go through those and hit any important bits... /rant

    Back on a lower level, the Dominion have established their position and the Spellsword is blasting away with her green lightning again.

    Hehe, I understand, thats why I tend to keep knowledge at one side and everything non serious at the other so I can generally ignore things like that. Didn't work for AC3 though.

    Lol Ponty, this is a bit of a show-off trailer, I doubt combat in ESO will be similiar to AC in anyway besides the fact that swords cut through armor, but just about all games have that, if it didn't we'd be needed atleast 2 weapons types on us at all tim...  more
