Skyrim RP series...Prologue (part 1) A storm is coming

  •

There was the face...the face that haunted Caerwyn's dreams and her fitful sleep. She saw her parents looking down on her with concern, then the face...Ancano...peering down at her and sneering. Then there were her parents hugging each other and crying out for her, tears running down their faces as she was taken from their home, restrained and thrown in the back of the carriage. The bumpy ride which seemed to last for eternity, then being taken into the prison cell, still restrained... There was a sudden flash of light and a loud crash and Caerwyn woke to the familiar darkness and the familiar pain all over her body. It wasn't the darkness which caused her not to be able to see clearly, it was the blindfold. All she could see was blurred outlines in the torchlight and feel the tightness of her various restraints. Her nightmare was real after all.

It sounded like a storm was outside and she heard the rain pouring down outside and the river seemed to be louder than before. She was lying on her stomach in what was called her bed, in the most comfortable position she could manage, due to the cuts on her back. It also took the wait off her toes, pushed as they were into the pony boots, which she was locked into. They went up to her knees and were heavy and forced her to walk on her toes and made a clopping sound, so they were aptly named. They certainly didn't allow her to walk about quietly, so her captors knew where she was.

There was the collar locked round her neck, which had a ring on the front so her captors could pull her where they needed her to be. Sometimes it was hooked round a ring in the wall so she was forced to stand for hours on end whilst they cut her back or whipped her. Some excuse about being a Talos worshipper. Who was Talos? She didn't know anything as she had spent her life in the Valenwood.

There was the blindfold of course and it was locked at the back of her head. There was also the panel gag, which locked under her chin and which had a lockable plug, which was only unlocked so they could feed her or question her about Talos worship. Whilst it was locked she couldn't speak or eat or drink on her own. The straps chafed the burnt skin on her face but they didn't care about that.

The corset was wrapped round her waist and strapped under her crotch and locked. It crushed her stomach and sometimes she brought her food back up and if the gag was locked it ran down her chin. It caused her breathing to be restricted, so she got out of breath easily.

There was the familiar tightness of the rubber gloves which ran up her arms to above the elbows. They were banded with metal bands so they couldn't be cut open and they had two D-rings which locked her arms and hands behind her. They needed two keys to unlock the padlocks. Each glove also needed two keys to unlock to get them off her arms.

There was the familiar weight of the heavy steel shackles which also locked her wrists behind her. They had a short chain so she had a little movement but she would have to get them off before she could remove the glove restraints.

If that wasn't enough there was the armbinder which was a leather sheath which enclosed her arms behind her and which was attached with straps which wrapped around her chest and shoulders and padlocked at her shoulders. It didn't allow her to pick up anything and it enclosed her fingers tightly at the bottom. She remembered she had nimble fingers from going hunting with a bow in the Valenwood with her parents and using axes and knives to skin pelts, during the happier times. It brought the tears running down her face when she thought of those times. How long had it been? She didn't know.

However she had been able to weaken the armbinder and get some movement back in her fingers by bending her fingers ever so subtly when alone in her cell. She had tried to work her arms and weaken the straps around her chest but when her captors caught her doing it she was punished and they re-tightened the straps so she thought better of it. They wouldn't be able to see her working her fingers however and her efforts had stretched the material at her fingers.

She had no idea why they had put so many restraints on her and she could have put up with them but for the fact she'd had soul gem piercings inserted into her nipples and navel. They were all locked in place with a chastity bra and the corset. These piercings sent shocks through her at random times and went on for random periods of time and the only thing she could do was endure them and curl into a ball if she could until the spasm passed. They sometimes didn't go off for hours and let her have some sleep and other times they went off every few minutes, leaving her grunting into her gag and rocking back and forth in her restraints, leaving her a bit frazzled.

Having been woken by the storm, Caerwyn slowly rolled onto her side, being careful of the cuts on her back and rested on her bound arms then sat up in her cot. She thought she heard shouts and the clash of weapons. It also sounded like the storm had subsided as the thunder seemed to be moving away but the river sounded as ferocious as ever.

She heard the sound of footsteps outside her cell door, then the sound of it being unlocked and two shapes moving towards her. She crawled backwards on the bed thinking that the Thalmor or Ancano had come into her cell. However a voice said 'Easy lass, we're not here to hurt you. I want to try and help you'.

The other shape said 'Ralof, we need to hurry. The guards are gone for now and we've overpowered the others. We don't know when they'll be back.'

'Gunjar, look at her. We can't just leave her here'

'We have no choice, Ralof. We need to move quickly. All her restraints will just slow us down. And how's she going to get down the drainage grate and up the ladder on the other side like that? Plus she's an elf. I don't trust them'

'The least I can do is get her blindfold off. Then she can try and make her own way from here'

    'Fair enough but come quickly.'

Gunjar moved back to the doorway to keep watch and Ralof reached over. Caerwyn flinched back when he reached toward her but he gently reached round and after a bit of fiddling managed to unlock it.

'When I take this off, lass, the light will blind you so be wary.'

The blindfold was finally pulled away and Caerwyn blinked her good eye in the light. Ralof looked shocked when he saw her blinded right eye and her burnt face. She remembered the pain when she had lost her eye and when they had burnt her face and the tears started flowing again.
Ralof tried to remove the gag plug and the gag but it wouldn't move. He broke the lockpick in the attempt. It had been locked shut after the Imperials had fed her, whenever it was. She didn't know how long she had been locked down here.

'Ysmir's Beard. What have those bastards done to you? All the cuts on your body. I wish we Stormcloaks knew about this place sooner'

Caerwyn shook her head and grunted through the gag. She didn't know.

Gunjar then ordered Ralof out of the cell. Ralof took her gently by the arm and escorted her to the cell door. 'Well lass, I'm afraid we must part ways here. You're in Skyrim. Gunjar is right. We can't take you with us. I just hope you manage to find keys or something to get you out of these things. The master key to the prison is on the table here. I hope it helps you. The main entrance is up the stairs ahead but we're not going that way. I don't have time to search with you. Gunjar is my superior officer and I have to obey him. Forgive me lass.'

He kissed her on the cheek and ran off into the next cell with Gunjar. She heard Gunjar angrily remonstrating with Ralof before they fled. Caerwyn tried shouting into her gag and struggled with the armbinder but they went down into the drainage grate, Gunjar still shouting at Ralof about 'filthy elves, their kind should stick to their own lands'

She walked into the cell where they had escaped and saw the tunnel for herself. They were right. There was no way she could follow them down there, bound as she was. She went back and looked at the table and saw the prison key lying on it but she had no way of picking it up when wearing the armbinder. She decided she had to get it off somehow.

Then the shocks started in all her piercings, and she was forced down to her knees. If it was one or two it wasn't so bad but all three at once...

Fascinating start Haggis...or Hunter...eh either works I guess. Anyway, I think it was a rather interesting start and the focus on her bindings was actually really intricate and...well interesting :P I like the idea of a somewhat different start focusing ...  more

      Northwatch Keep.
Yes, Ancano. I've never liked him so I thought I'd make him the bad guy

Someone here has quite the imagination when it comes to restraints and torture. ;)

I'm curious how she's gonna get out now.

Oh thanks for reading. Hope you enjoy the other chapters. Some of the earlier ones are pretty rough round the edges but I hope you see an improvement in my style as the story progresses.
Ancano is not a nice person...
      :(

I'm glad you like it. If you happen to find a few smallish pictures more suitable for your story then we can always use them.  :)

Poor Caerwyn. No wonder she is searching for Ancano. I sure hope she gets her revenge.

Ancano has his own motivations and goals in mind but I don't want to say too much at this stage

Sory I've not been posting more chapters to my story. It is still ongoing ingame at least and I'm a lot further in the game than what I've written so far. It's just I've been very busy recently and haven't had the time or inclination to post story stuff a...  more

Thanks Sotek. I wasn't sure if this was the right place to post the story so I will check out the TT group tomorrow.
It's actually the first of 4 parts to her background story so I'll see if I can set up a  ToC thingy, once I get the hang of it...;)
