Ode to the Forest with the Bay.

  • Swaying trees, To and fro from breeze. Climbing high, High as Y'ffre's Sky. Living homes, Their foundation roams. Green leaves, Hanging from eaves. Shady floor, Just one hour more. Valenwood, Valenwood; O how you make me long for The shadow's hood, shadow's hood. Valenwood, Valenwood! Baby deer, It comes far too near. Dying breath, Arrow in chest. Fading light, Eyes not so bright. Family's meal, To-night is veal. Valenwood, Valenwood; O how I long for its Darkened brown wood, brown wood. Valenwood, Valenwood!

    Baby deer,
    It comes far too near.
    Dying breath,
    Arrow in chest.
    Fading light,
    Eyes not so bright.

The Gloomy Skald lives up to his name, and how. That's dark and beautiful.
