If you are so inclined, you respond to the dare by "pledging" to complete the dungeon and return to the guild "undaunted."

Actually, Spider Daedra do pop up in ESO. That said, Velidreth isn't one, gameplay-wise.

The_LexTenebrous is correct, Spider Daedra appear quite frequently in ESO. In fact, there are a lot of daedra that you hear about in lore but have not seen in Skyrim. Daedroth, Clannfear, Scamps, Ogrim - to name a few.

Velidreth is like a Spider Daedra, but not exactly. No one is quite sure how she came to be. All we know is that she is considered an abomination, even among other daedra (that's saying something!). She has this secret Mephala cult of assassins; however, Mephala has not shown approval or disapproval of this cult. less
